Court and DCS approved

12 week program, 1 hour per week

$55 Intake fee, $30 per class

Couples rate $45

Introduction to Parenting and Child Development

  • Understanding the role of a parent in a child's life
  • Explore child development stages and their influence on behavior and emotions
  • Recognize the significance of early years in shaping a child's growth

Effective Communication with Children

  • Learn about listening techniques to foster open and honest communication
  • Validate and acknowledge a child's feelings to build trust and understanding
  • Enhance communication skills for meaningful conversations with children

Positive Discipline Techniques

  • Discover the power of positive reinforcement for encouraging desired behaviors
  • Implement appropriate consequences to guide a child's behavior positively
  • Avoid punitive discipline and explore constructive discipline methods  

Setting Boundaries and Limits

  • Establish consistent  and age-appropriate boundaries for a structed environment
  • Strike a balance between granting freedom and setting responsibility limits
  • Create a nurturing space that fosters independence and respect

Fostering Emotional Intelligence

  • Understand emotions and their impact on a child's overall well-being
  • Teach emotional expression and regulation to support emotional intelligence
  • Develop a strong emotional connection with children

Handling Challenging Behaviors

  • Learn practical techniques for managing tantrums, defiance, and challenging behaviors

TB & COVID POLICY

Please Read....

 Updated TB policy 12/16/2021 *TB TEST REQUIRED only if you have experienced any of the following symptoms in the past 12 months;  Cough lasting three weeks or longer, chest pain, difficulty breathing, coughing up blood, night sweats or if you have tested positive please bring proof of treatment or chest x-rays in the past 12 months.  


 COVID policy. Mask should be worn if you have not been vaccinated. If you have experienced symptoms or fever in past fourteen days or been around someone who has please reschedule your class two weeks out. A letter can be provided if needed.
